In particular DAASI International wants to offer its services to small and medium-sized businesses, public authorities and the research sector, hence there can be granted special conditions to this clientele.

One characteristic of DAASI International is its commitment to support open standards as means to increase the interoperability between different products. This commitment comes along with a strong support for open source software and the operating system Linux, because of greater security and flexibility and higher cost efficiency. Nevertheless, if customers need support of other platforms, e.g. Solaris, Windows 2000 and Novell Netware and respective proprietary software, the company can deliver such services as well.

Another characteristic of the company is its strong relation to R&D and governmental institutions, German as well as international, and its commitment to continue to provide services to these communities. Finally the staff has gained long experience in storing personal data and in the resulting requirements of privacy legislation. The company is a determined spokesman for personal rights and will actively participate in respective technical development and standardisation, e.g. on issues with unsolicited advertisement emails.
