Official start of the TextGrid Project, in which DAASI International participates. This Project, which is part of the D-Grid initiative, aims at creating a community grid for text-based disciplines which supports the following basic functions: tools for scientific editing, definition of standardized interfaces for publication software, modules for scientific text processing as well as administration of defined and controlled access to data and tools.
By this means an interdisciplinary, international and networked virtual research platform is constituted.
