The TextGrid Project, which is part of the
D-Grid initiative, aims at developing a community grid for the humanities, which supports the following
basic functions:
a toolkit for scientific editing, standardised interfaces for publishing software, modules for scientific
textdata processing, as well as the administration of defined and controlled access to data and tools.
By these means, an interdisciplinary, international and cross-linked virtual research platform shall be constituted.

D-Grid project
"Interoperability und Integration of VO-Management Technologies in D-Grid". The IVOM project aims at
integrating the authentication standard Shibboleth into the D-Grid, a Grid computing infrastructure for e-Science.
One of the main goals is the implementation of a comprehensive VO-Management, which provides an integrative
user and rights management that allows authentication and authorisation in the communities
independently from the individually employed Grid middleware.
